Mareta Alexander

ALEXANDER, MARETA – Peacefully, passed away with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, April 3, 2025 just a month before her 74th birthday. Devoted mom to Alexandra Frost (Will Watson) , Jordan Frost (Amanda Beattie), Garrett Frost (Emily Murray), Crystal VanRavenswaay, Austin VanRavenswaay, Kyle VanRavenswaay (Josh Belanger), and Amber VanRavenswaay. Mareta cherished her grandchildren: Kaila Watson, Cooper Murray, Piper Murray, Audrey Beattie, and Liam Beattie. Loyal sister to Martin (Caroline), Mark (Vicki), and Marshall (Tracy). Mareta will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Noreen Alexander. Her mission in life was to help and Mareta met that mission head on – taking in or feeding the many stray animals in her vicinity and finding them good homes, helping women improve their physical well-being at her Curves location, providing great customer service while working with Gutter Serve, selling her homemade crochet work at a local market, or just stopping to talk to everyone who walked by, lightening their day with her dry sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with Mareta, her straight talk and forthright manner never left you guessing.
