Madelin Joan Laplante

LAPLANTE, Madelin Joan (nee Bechamp) – Surrounded by her family, Madelin passed away peacefully in her home on November 9, 2021, at the age of 90. Wife of the late Gaetan Laplante (2018). Dear mother of Joanne English (Cliff Dewey), Dianne Laplante (Chris Salahub), Louise Mackey and Jennifer (Steven Raymond). Loving grandmother to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd (2004) and Wallace (1978). Born on January 29, 1931, Madelin was a devout Catholic, with God being an important part of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mom enjoyed playing bingo, cards and slots and loved baking all of our favourite treats. Her family was the center of her world, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated privately at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, followed by the Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery.
