LOBSINGER – Margaret Catharine “Cathy” Anne (Née Green) - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, nana, and friend, Margaret Catharine Anne “Cathy” Lobsinger, on August 12, 2026, at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital, at the age of 80.

Cherished wife of Kenneth Lobsinger of 57 years. Loving mother of Blair Lobsinger and Brandon Lobsinger and daughters-in-law Kathleen and Amy. Proud grandmother of Hailey, Keeley, Cooper, and Kallea, who brought immense joy and love into her life.

Cathy has been welcomed into Heaven, where she is reunited with her mom and dad, her brothers Don and Michael, and her best friend Val. Survived by her siblings Debra and Kelly.

Cathy will always be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her faith and church, her humility, her wonderful sense of humour, and the kindness she showed to those around her. She had a way of keeping everyone laughing and certainly knew how to keep those around her on their toes. She was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton, where she was especially known for her dedication to selling poppies and supporting those who served.

Above all, Cathy’s greatest treasure was her family. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Cathy’s family will receive visitors at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Lamb Chapel of the Funeral Home. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.

If desired, donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to Rankin Cancer Run. Online condolences may be left at www.Bocchinfusofh.com

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff on the surgical floor and ICU at Niagara Health who cared for Cathy and supported her and our family during her final days and Bocchinfuso Funeral Home for their support and compassion.
