Lucy Silvello

SILVELLO, Lucy (Franceschini) ~ Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 84. Cherished wife of the late Louie Silvello (July 29, 2009). Loving and devoted mother of Gina (Pat) Monachino and the late Linda Silvello (August 10, 2012) (survived by good friend Claude Stephenson). Loving grandma to Amy (Andrew) Symes, and Adam Stephenson (Dara Goulet) and great grandma to Lauren and Lilah Symes. Much loved sister to Josephine (Doug) Hicks, Olga (Bruno) Massei and Lorraine (Danny) Iacozza. Predeceased by brother Jerry (survived by wife Olga) Franceschini and sister Lena (the late John) Cariglia. Lucy will also by fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be best remembered for her wonderful smile, kind heart and sense of humour. Lucy worked for over 25 years for Sears Canada. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for all their care and compassion and an extended special thank you to our friend Fran Thomas, who was always there for Lucy.
