D'AMICO, LOUISA (D'ADDARIO) - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on August 20, 2018 at Linhaven Home, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe (2006). She will forever live in the hearts of her children John D'Amico (Elaine), Pasqualina (Pietro Catenaro) and Tony D'Amico (Linda). Nonna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kristin (Shawn Kimpel), Rosanna Catenaro (Dakota Kasdorf), Robert D'Amico (Paula), Nathan D'Amico (Annalisa), Matthew D'Amico (Jessica), Dylan D'Amico and by her great-grandchildren Haley and Jacob Kimpel, Harper Kasdorf, Joseph, Daniel, Leila, Alessandro and James D'Amico. Predeceased by her great-granddaughter Amy Kimpel (2003). Beloved daughter and daughter-in-law of the late Giovanni and Concetta D'Addario and Cosmo and Luigia D'Amico. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Michele (Josephine) D'Addario and Vincenza (the late Giuseppe) Marrone. Predeceased by her infant brothers Antonio and Giuseppe D'Addario. Zia Louisa will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thanks to all the staff at "Linhaven" for their special care and attention that they gave "MOM". Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Friday, August 24, 2018 AT 11:00 A.M. The Rite of Committal will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Linhaven or to the charity of your choice, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
