THOMPSON, LOIS MARIE (Nee Kimmet) -It is with heavy hearts but treasured memories that we announce the passing of Lois on Friday, August 10, 2018. Lois is now at peace. Lois was a wonderful daughter, wife (the late John Thompson), mother and friend who demonstrated an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Lois touched people every day with her thoughtfulness, kindness and wonderful smile. Lois demonstrated the most powerful will to live as she courageously battled COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Deeply loved and sadly missed by her brother George (Diane) Kimmet, her late sister Dorothy (Red) Willbanks, her partner Bill Davey, her daughters Diane (the late Bob) Herbynchuk, Brenda (James) Howard, her son, the late John Thompson, her grandchildren Geoffrey (Thanh-Van) Herbynchuk, Jennifer (Tony) Visconti, Keith Thompson and Jessica (Mitch) Thompson, and her great grandchildren Kirsten Herbynchuk and Sydney Snodden. Loved by all members of the Thompson and Davey families and her dear friends. Please join us in celebrating Lois' life at a memorial service in the chapel of BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
