Linda Ann Silvello

Silvello, Linda Ann (April 13, 1955-August 10, 2012) ~ It is with heavy hearts that the family grieves the loss of Linda, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on August 10, 2012. Cherished daughter of Lucy and the late Louie Silvello and dearly loved sister of Gina (Pat) Monachino. Linda is survived by her two loving children, Amy (Andrew) Symes and Adam Stephenson (Dara Goulet). Much loved "Hamma" to her granddaughter Lauren Symes. Linda will also be missed by her dear friend Claude Stephenson, her brother and sister-in-law Dale and Barb Stephenson, her nephew Ryan (Alexis) Stephenson, her niece Stacy (Michael, Mira) Strickland as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Linda will be remembered also by many colleagues and members of the First Ontario Credit Union Community where she was employed for over 30 years. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at the St. Catharines General Oncology and Palliative Care Units and Shaver Hospital for the excellent care and kindness they provided. Linda wished to express her heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support of her dear friends and family who kept her smiling during her difficult times. Linda will be most remembered as a warm and kind hearted person with a positive attitude, a love of laughter and a generous spirit and a beautiful smile.
