Lena Calendino

CALENDINO, Lena - After a lengthy stay in hospital, surrounded by her family, Lena passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 94. Dear wife of the late Pietro (October 12, 2017). Proud mother of Larry (Leigh) and Anne Marie (Greg Howe). Nanna will be missed by her grandchildren, Rob (Julie) Calendino, Sara (Michal Blatnicky) and the late Dan Calendino. Fondly remembered by great grandchildren Amielle and Noah. Dear sister of Chiarina (Joe Serravelle), Emma (late Frank Mauro), Ugo (Rosemary) Venneri and sister-in-law Rose (late Frank Venneri). Predeceased by her brother Cesare Venneri, sister Assunta (Armando Citrigno), sister-in-law Marietta and brother-in-law Francesco Bocchinfuso. Lena will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family visitation was held and a Funeral Mass has taken place at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold.
