Lea Bianco

BIANCO, Lea "Cesira" - With deep sadness, Gabriel Bianco (Brigita) and Philomena (Murray Wilcox) announce the peaceful passing of our Mother Lea, at home, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She has gone to be with her best friend and husband of 60 years; the late Giulio (October 1997). She was the loving Nonna of Alex and his wife Jennifer and Joel and his wife Zuzana. Her pride and joy was being Bisnonna to Olivia. Lea will be fondly remembered by her step granddaughter Nancy and her family. Zia will be missed by Mary Anne, Michael, Lenny and families. Mom was predeceased by her sisters Maria Angela (Domenico), Grazia (Antonio) and her brother Olivio (Mary). Lea was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church since arriving in Canada in 1951. She was a devout Catholic and a most loyal and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Her house and kitchen were always open to anyone who entered. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Rite of committal will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
