KRUPA, Lawrence "Larry" ~ with heavy hearts the Krupa Family announces the passing of their loving husband, father, grandpa and brother at the St. Catharines Hospital, on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 46 years to Janice Krupa. Loving father of Joe (Michelle) and Steve (Sheri). Poppa and Grandpa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jenna, Liam and Eliya. Dear brother of Ron (the late Judy) and Pauline. Larry was a veteran of Cyprus, serving in the Canadian Army from 1961-1966 and a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #138, Merritton. He worked as an inspector for General Motors and enjoyed 14 years of retirement. Larry's family will receive friends at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold on Friday from 1-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #138, Merritton will conduct a Legion Service for Comrade Larry on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Vigil prayers to be celebrated at 3 p.m. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Larry to the St. Catharines Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul Society or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
