Laurette Marie Turcotte

Turcotte, Laurette Marie (Leblanc) ~ surrounded by her loving family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late John Turcotte (March 31, 2006). Loving mother of Laurina Turcotte, Rosemarie Whitten, Bernie (Lisa) Turcotte and Barbara Turcotte. Predeceased by daughter Suzan Forde (1996) and son David Giroux (2005). Grandma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Danielle, Elyse, Melissa, Dylan, Kory, Hannah, Shannon, Sydney, Conner, Spencer, Michaela, Mackenzie, Austin and Ethan. Dear sister of Hilda (Rene), Raymond (Jean), Aurele (Helene), Rosilda and her daughters Lynn and Janice and their families, Omer (Linda), Andre (Christine), Laurence (Jean Paul), Jean Guy (Muriel), Gilbert (Lise) and Ronald (Diane). Predeceased by sister Laurina (the late Ralph) and brother Richard survived by his wife Viola. Laurette will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Laurette's favourite pastime was tending to her garden, playing cards and bowling. She was very involved and active within her community, always lending a hand where needed.
