Kenneth Scott Johnston

JOHNSTON, Kenneth Scott ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the St. Catharines Hospital, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the age of 66. Cherished husband and best friend of 44 years to Judy (Dearborn) Johnston. Loving father of Michael (Maryann) and Scott. Grandpa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Matthew and Connor, Lucas, Marissa and Jesse. Dear brother of Marilyn (the late Frank) Furry. Predeceased by parents Norman and Helen Johnston, brother Norman and sister Betty survived by her husband Joe Monte. Special son-in-law of Eva and the late Art Dearborn and brother-in-law of Wayne (Bonnie) Dearborn and Tom (Heather) Dearborn. Ken will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He worked as a C.E.O. for the Shaver Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 2000. Ken was a long time member of the St. Catharines Y.M.CA. and enjoyed many days boating in and around Port Dalhousie. A special thank you to Dr. J.M. Rosloski, Dr. S. Hotte and Dr. D. McMillan of the Juravinski Centre and Dr. Wasserman of the NHS-St. Catharines Site and their staff for all their care and compassion.
