Joseph Edward Emilien Presse

Presse, Joseph Edward Emilien "Jeep" ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 60 years to Louise Presse. Loving father of Ray (Carol), Lisa (Kevin) Handley and Lorin (Cathy). Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Marcie (Lee), Melissa (Michael), Jennifer (Mike), Erica (Derrell), Nicole and Michelle and by his great grandchildren Hunter and Sydney. Jeep was a veteran of WWII, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#138, Merritton and was involved with the labour board in St. Catharines. He worked for the St. Catharines Standard for over 30 years, retiring in 1991. Jeep had a life well lived and was a great mentor and inspiration to his family. A special thank you to Dr. Taylor and nurses and staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
