O'Neill, John Joseph Hugh "Mickey" ~ 1919-2009 The day after his birthday, peacefully, on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Valetta O'Neill. Dear brother of Margaret (the late James) Timmons. Predeceased by brother Clifford O'Neill. Survived by sister-in-law Betty. Uncle Mickey will be sadly missed by three generations of nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Canadian Air Force, finishing active duty in 1945. He served as a turret gunner on the Lancaster Bomber. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #17, Thorold. He worked for the Ontario Paper Mill retiring in 1984.
