KVETKO, John Anthony – At Niagara Health, St. Catharines, surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Laura (née Lethby) of more than 50 years, who passed in 2020. Dear father of Kris (Ashley) Kvetko and Lindsay (Colleen) Kvetko. Brother of James (Marilyn) Kvetko; Brother-in-law to Mike (the late Gloria, 2011) Jurkovic, the late Charlie, 2020 (surviving spouse Audrey) Lethby, Susan (Billy) Wentworth and the late Harold, 1979. Uncle John will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. If you were looking for John, you would find him in one of four places – at the trailer up north, on the golf course, at the Parkway Lanes, bowling, or playing darts at the Unifor Hall. No matter where he was, he would be making people laugh with his never-ending sarcastic wit. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
