McGRATH, JAMES ADRIAN –Passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Niagara Health Niagara Falls Hospital at the age of 88. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beverly (née DeVoe) in 2017. Loving father of Eleanor (Camillo) Caputo, Adrian (Cathy) and Lisa (the late Iskender) Tokuc. Proud Grampa to James “Alex” (Aimee), Matthew (Sheldyn), Nicole (Sebastian), Annie and Patrick (Karrington). “Papa” to his great grandchildren Noelle, Monet and Ruth. James is survived by his sister Tessie but predeceased by his brothers Paul (Colleen) and Cyril. He is also survived by his siblings-in-law Joyce (the late Doug), Angie (the late Jack), Mabel (Gerald), Brenda (the late Glenn), Lorraine (Gerard), Janie (Gary) and Brian (Jane), and predeceased by in-laws Theresa and Kevin. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and friends. James was born in Mill Creek, Cape Breton and in 1957 he went to work on the lakers. In 1964, he moved to Ontario after marrying the love of his life, Beverly, he went to work for General Motors where he retired as a Millwright in 2000, after 36 years of service. He had varied interests in many things, but his priority was always his family, Sunday suppers being the highlight of his week. Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 7:00- 9:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM . Rite of Committal, Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
