Ivan James Roberts

ROBERTS, IVAN JAMES- Peacefully, on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Burlington, at the age ¬¬91. Beloved husband of the late Joan “Joanie” for 68 years. He was the guiding light to his three daughters Susan, Linda, and Sheri (Danny) Murphy, who adored him. Proud Grampa of Gregory (Joshua), Michael (Erin), Daniela (Brandon) and Julia and Great Grampa of Logan. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Margaret, and his siblings Hazel (Bill) Green, Wesley and Aileen (Carm) Luciani. Ivan was dedicated to his community, volunteering with Fire Protection Hose company #1, he was a Past President of the Thorold Board of Trade and was dedicated Councilman of the Town of Thorold. He spent his career in Industrial Relations with Provincial Paper, Abitibi, Domtar and Quno, and will be remembered by many of his friends and colleagues.
