PERSIA, Irma Marie (member of Club Roma Women's Auxiliary) - Peacefully at home after a courageous battle, on Sunday, April 14, 2019. Irma (Baldin) of St. Catharines (formerly of Thorold), in her 85th year. Wife of the late Raymond Persia. Dear mother of Michael (Carla), Joey (Lynne), Suzanne (Darlene). Loving grandma to Cara, Matthew and Mia. Sister of Dena (the late Johnny Baseggio), Gina (Vince Nardangeli) and the late Mario Baldin, Guido (Buck) Baldin, Johnny Baldin, Gino Baldin and Danny Baldin. Sister-in-law to Lena Baldin, Dell Baldin, Rosemarie Baldin and the late Caroline Baldin. Irma will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. A private Rite of Committal will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
