LUCE, Ida Angeline (Broccolo) ~ suddenly, surrounded by her loving family at the St. Catharines Hospital on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved mother of Mary Lou (Fred) Van Groningen. Cherished grandma of Steve (Sally) and Samantha. Pre-deceased by her husband Oswald "Ossie" (Nov. 9, 1999), parents Peter and Chiarina Broccolo, brothers Frank and his wife Anita, Michael, Peter and sister Rose. Dear aunt of Pete and Karen Broccolo. Special niece of Ang Poirer and Irene Paone. Ida was a member of the Alexina Rebekah Lodge No. 267, Unitas Rebekah Lodge 266 and the St. Catharines Branch of the Ontario Hookers Craft Guild of which Ida loved to tell people "I'm a hooker"!.
