Howard Elgin Cook

COOK, Howard Elgin - December 2, 1954 ~ March 17, 2018 - It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce that Howard lost his long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Howard is survived by his wife Christine (née Muelli); step-son Nicholas Sauchuk (Aleks); mother Margaret Cook; mother-in-law Vera Muelli; brothers Chris (Brenda), Bill (Sandra); sister-in-law Carol Muelli-McBurnie and brother-in-law Paul Muelli (Doris) and by aunts, uncles, dear cousins and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Howard will be remembered for his generous character, his strength, his skill as a craftsman and builder and for his love of music, sports, technology and animals. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. J. Nolan; Dr. Leber and the transplant and I.C.U. teams at Juravinski Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at Club Belvedere, 57 John Street Thorold at 1 p.m. Donations in Howard's memory may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
