ANDERSON, Helena (nee Shelley) ~ with great sorrow we announce the passing of Helena Gertrude Anderson in her 83rd year on Thursday, July 3, 2014 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Loving wife and best friend of George for 56 years. Loving mother of Jill (Mike) and Gordon (Elizabeth). Cherished grandmother of Emma, Charlotte, Jack, Kiera and David. Much loved sister of Joyce (Louis). Predeceased by parents Hilda and William. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, warmth and dedication to her family and friends and her generosity of time, love and spirit. Helena always looked for the good in everyone. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at the Stabler Centre for their unwavering love and compassion for Helena during her stay.
