Heather Mary Ann Lindal

LINDAL, HEATHER MARY ANN (née Gocking) - At Niagara Health Sciences - St. Catharines Site, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 after a very long, courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes, Heather is finally at peace. Heather of St. Catharines, formerly of Thorold, was in her 72nd year. Loving mother of Catherine and devoted grandmother (Ma) to James and Jackson. Predeceased by her parents John Gocking and Florence Ryckman. Survived by two sisters Margo (Jim Kavanaugh), Linda (John Wilkinson) and one brother John Lorne Gocking (Lori) and several nieces and nephews. Sister in law to Pat Lindal. Special thank you to Gale Allan and Dave Boese for the friendship and love they showed for Heather throughout the years. Friends like you are few and far between, thank you. To Garden City Manor, the doctors and nurses in emergency care, the critical care unit and the nurses on floor 4A, your care and compassion is very much appreciated, thank you. At Heather's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Heather's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton, Upstairs Hall, 2 Chestnut Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2 - 4 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
