Harvey P. Beauvais

BEAUVAIS, HARVEY P. With the love and support of his family, Harvey passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 78. Harvey has been reunited with his beloved wife of 49 years, Doreen (2009). Loving father of Michelle (Jim) Andrews, Sandy Conners (Sean Judge) and Marc Beauvais. Proud Pepere of Amanda, Christopher, Stephanie, Kaleigh, Steven and Nathan. Dear brother of Anita (William) Riddle, Paul (Sharon) Beauvais, Vincent (Leslie) Beauvais. Brother-in-law of Ralph (Sue) Ecker, Lorne Ecker and Lolly (Les) Longmire and Gerry Ecker. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Harvey was predeceased by his siblings Jeannine (Marc) Rioux, Murielle (Esidore) Galliera, Lucille Joanisse and Denis (Sandra) Beauvais and also his brothers-in-law Keith Ecker and Ken (Pat) Ecker. Harvey was very proud of his 23 years of dedication and service in the Royal Canadian Airforce and for 16 years with the C.B.S.A. After his retirement in 1998, Doreen and Harvey enjoyed their cottage in Smooth Rock Falls and also spent some time travelling throughout Canada. He will be remembered for being an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. A special thank you to Jim Rosso, for keeping a watchful eye on Dad over the past few years and to the staff of 4A at the St. Catharines General Hospital, for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Harvey's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Harvey's Life will be held in the chapel at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. with visitation held prior to the service, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An inurnment will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
