INNOCENTIN, GIUSEPPINA “Josephine” (Née Perri) – Peacefully, with her family by her side on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Falls, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Dante (1996). Loving mother of Guido, Emily (Don) Brochu, Delia (Eric) Pearson, Luciano (Shawna Parzygnat), Diane (Paul) Parisien and Mirella (Shawn) Morrison. Cherished Nonna of Tim, Nicole, Christopher, Neil, Ryan, Stephanie (Adriano), Victoria and Kayden, predeceased by her grandson Daniel. Dear sister to Liberata (Tony) Celima and Santino (Nikki) Perri. Josephine is predeceased by her parents Santo and Emilia Perri and her stepmother Rosina Perri. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was an independent woman who enjoyed gardening, crocheting, dinner dances, travelling and cooking for her family. Josephine loved spending time with her family and friends and adored her children and grandchildren. Josephine was a devoted catholic, a longtime member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish and the Italian Catholic Association. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 21 Queen Street South, Thorold. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
