RAIMONDO, Giuseppe - It is with great sadness we announce the peacefully passing of our dearly loved father, nonno, uncle and friend at Ina Grafton Gage Village, St. Catharines, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Concetta (Iantomasi). Loving father of Emilio Raimondo (Nancy Delaney), Michael Raimondo (Donna Pingue) and Marilisa (Sean Springett). Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joseph (Kathyrn), Kaitlin, Kaila, Lauren, Isabella, Lucas and great nonno to Chloe and Parker. Giuseppe was pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Zio Giuseppe will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was born in Montorio, Campobasso, Italy in 1930. Giuseppe immigrated to Canada in 1954 to start a new chapter in his life as a husband and father. He had an impeccable work ethic working in construction and a 32 year career as a Millwright at Ontario Paper. He was a man of great strength and integrity. Our strong Dad provided for us and always had a way with words. His garden was his favorite hobby.
A private visitation will be held at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold. A private Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen St., Thorold.
