PIZZACALLA, Giuseppe (Member of Comitato Festa Assunta, Holy Rosary Church) - At Queen's Gardens Hamilton, on Monday, July 2, 2018. "Joe" Pizzacalla, formerly of Thorold in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Giuseppina (Panunto). Dear father of Anthony "Tony" (Anne), Gino (Anne) and the late Maria. Loving Nonno to Laura, Katherine, Mia, Dina. Brother of Lucia (the late Carmen Panunto), Carmela (the late Diodaro), Grace (the late Nick Meffe) and the late Michael, Peter (the late Josephine) and Filamena. Brother -in-law of Helen Pizzacalla, Vince Iamonaco. Zio Joe will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00 -9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 with vigil prayers recited at 3:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery.
