Giuseppe Milani

Milani, Giuseppe ~ passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on January 18, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 65 years to Giovannina Milani. Loving father of Rosita (Domenic) Marchese, Mary (Larry) Lawson, Domenic and Luigi. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren J.J., Geny (Marco), Lanny, Alaina (Simon) and Joseph. Super nonno to Mila, Milo and Pearson. Dear brother of the late Demetrio (the late Linda) and the late Gina (the late Angelo) of Vancouver, B.C. Giuseppe was born in Carapelle, Calvisio, L'Aquila, Italy on March 18, 1919 and immigrated to Canada in 1950. He worked for the Ontario Paper Co. for 19 years and then started his own business with Petrofina, retiring in 2008 at the age of 89. He enjoyed his family, writing poetry books and gardening. Giuseppe will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
