Mancini, Giuseppe Ersilio "Joe" ~ at the St. Catharines General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 50 years to Maria (Passero) Mancini. Loving father of Carmela (Philip), the late R. John (1996), Tony (Michelle), Lisa and David (Sara). Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sabrina, Daniel, Andrew and his mother Sandra, Jonathan, Matthew, the late Nicholas (2006) and David Jr. Dear brother of Angelo (the late Rosetta) Mancini, Antonietta (Giuseppe) Di Felice, Carmine (Stefania) Mancini, Maria (the late Enzo) Picchiante, Nicola (Grace) Mancini, Livia (Tony) Carile, Vince (Ida) Mancini and Elena (Libby) Panunto and brother-in-law of Peter (Tina) Passero. Predeceased by his parents Rosario and Carmela Mancini and by his father and mother-in-law Giuseppe and Angelina Passero. Joe will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a founding member of Club Castropignano, a talented carpenter and a dedicated construction foreman with Gorge Holdings Inc. for 30 years. In Joe's retirement years he was an avid gardener and loved to cook for his family. His favourite pastimes were his vacations in Castropignano, Italy. A special thank you to Dr. Levesque in the Oncology Department and nurse Theresa for all their care and compassion shown to Joe.
