D'Amico, Giuseppe "Joe" ~ surrounded by his loving family, at his home, on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 9:10 p.m. at the age of 78, Joe was called to be with the Lord. Beloved husband of 53 years to Anna Maria (Spina) D'Amico. Loving father of Kathy (John), Anna (Tim), Donna (Don) and Johnny. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Marina (Jose), Matthew (Amber), Tara, Nathan, Chad, Marysa, Jenna and Sara. Great grandpa of Melanie, Ashley and Kyle. Dear brother of the late Domenico, survived by his wife Antonietta, the late Domenica, Filomena, Michelina (Michele) and Maria Libera (Gabriele). Joe will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born in Cercemaggiore, Italy on February 11, 1930. Joe arrived in Canada in December of 1953. He worked at the Niagara Structural Steel Co. and the Ontario Paper Co. as a crane operator, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Central Gospel Temple, St. Catharines.
