Giovanni Siena

Siena, Giovanni ~ surrounded by his loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 67 years to Vittoria (DiMaggio) Siena. Loving father of Grace (Basilio) Falvo, Nicola (Rosa) Siena, Maria (Dennis) Dallner and Phyllis (Michael) Girotti. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Troy, Roseanne, Dina, Victoria, Gabriel, Jennifer, Sarah, Michael and Steven and by his 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Mateo, Antonio and Guiseppe. Giovanni will also be missed by several nieces and nephews in Italy. He worked for the Abitibi Paper Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1983. Giovanni was a member of the Padre Pio Group, Club Roma Senior's, a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold and a recipient of the Croce di Guerra.
