Gerald Archer

Archer, Gerald - At 88 years, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Born in Manchester, England on January 19, 1928 he grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland where he met Evelyn, the love of his life with whom he was married for 67 years until her death in March, 2016. Together, they were a team and had many adventures that solidified their partnership and Christian faith. Their children celebrate and fondly remember their lessons of strength, courage and endurance. Gerald is survived by Arnold and Elizabeth, David and Janet, Evelyn (Lyn) and Michael. Grandpa to Lesley (Michael), Kenneth (Lisa), Robin (Brenda), Kyla, Emma and Mackenzie. Great Grandpa to Fiona, Sophia, Celeste, Ethan, Griffin and Keira. Predeceased by infant daughter Angela Ruth. Cremation will be followed by interment in Ireland. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Drs. Beecroft, Jensen and Ali as well as the nursing staff at the St. Catharines Hospital.
