Gaetano Caperchione

Caperchione, Gaetano "Guy" ~ surrounded by the love of his family and friends, Guy passed away peacefully at his residence in Thorold, on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and best friend of 48 years to Annie (Marchetti) Caperchione. Cherished father of twin sons Patrick (Sheila) and Paul (Krista) and daughter Cristina. Predeceased by daughter Luisa. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughters Hannah, Karlie and Chandra. Predeceased by parents Pasquale and Luigia and stepmother Anna Caperchione. Dear brother-in-law of Vic (Kathy) Marchetti, Maurice (Judy) Marchetti and the late Licia survived by her husband Renato Valencich. Loving nephew of Maria Sergnese. Guy will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Guy arrived in Canada at a young boy at the age of 9. He worked for the Ontario Paper Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1997. Guy was a member of Club Castropignano, a committee member of the Feast of the Assumption and an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold. He loved gardening and had a passion for making wine, becoming quite a connoisseur. His time revolved around his family and friends who made his life complete.
