Gabriele Ruggi

Ruggi, Gabriele ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 59 years to Maria (D'Amico) Ruggi. Loving father of Joe (Marietta), John (Kathy), Michael (Kathy) and Mario. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Maryrose (Dave), Marina, Matthew (Amber), Miranda, Amanda, Teresa, Abigail and Gabriel and by his great grandchildren Melanie, Ashley, Kyle and Otis. Dear brother of Chris (Antoinetta), John (Antoinetta), Domenic (Pina), Michael (Marie), Antoinetta (Franco) Parente, Maria Libera (the late Nicole) D'Abte, Teresa Ruggi and Christina (Giovanni) Barbieri. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Maria Ruggi and brothers-in-law Dominic D'Amico survived by his wife Antonietta and Joe D'Amico survived by his wife Mary and sister-in-law Michelina Zeoli survived by her husband Michele. Gabriele worked for Ontario Paper Co. for 17 years retiring in 1987. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold.
