Frank Kaupp

KAUPP, Frank ~ surrounded by his loving family, at the Welland County Hospital, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Kaupp (Nov. 6, 2003). Loving father of Danny (Shona) Kaupp and Peter (Margaret) Kaupp. Grandpa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kelly (Rob), Kristy (James), Courtney and Kelsey. Predeceased by sister Jean and brother Jack survived by his wife Joan. Frank will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Frank owned and operated Kaupp Electric along with his father, Myles and brother Jack and now with his sons, Danny and Peter for over 68 years. He was a WWII Veteran, life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #138, Merritton, actively involved with the building of the Merritton Centennial Arena, member of the Municipal Electrical Association, volunteered for 27 years as a fireman, acted as the Merritton Fire Chief, acted as the Commissioner for the Ontario Municipal Electric League, sat on the board of the St. Catharines P.U.C., member of IEEE and a member of the ADANAC Masonic Lodge.
