It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Farrah Josephine Abruscato's sudden passing. She passed away peacefully in her home on June 20, 2023, at the young age of 30.
Farrah will be greatly missed by her beautiful daughter Myah, her loving husband Filippo, her adoring Mother Anita, siblings Brent, Spencer, Echo, Clinton (Kristee), Siera, Piersen, her Nonna Josephine Savoia, aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be reunited with her late father Lyle, whom she loved and missed dearly.
Farrah was the definition of beauty, inside and out. To know her was to love her. She touched the lives of all that knew her with such an incredible humor, she was always laughing. Farrah was always ready for an adventure and never let life's challenges get to her. She was positive, encouraging, and most importantly family oriented.
She married the love of her life Filippo in 2019, and shortly after moved to Alberta to begin their life together. Farrah was a natural caregiver from an early age and continued her life caring for those around her. Even after entering motherhood herself, she continued to care for her own mother and was happy to do so.
Farrah enjoyed the little things in life. She loved being outdoors and being one with nature. Most of all she enjoyed every moment she had with her little girl. Her dogs were very important to her, both past and present. To know Farrah meant knowing her love for Disney and her obsession with penguins; a symbol of hope and resilience just like her.
Cremation has taken place at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
A Celebration of Farrah’s life will take place at a later date.
