Evan Ross Solyk

Solyk, Evan Ross ~ it is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our husband and father on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 39 years to Lynda Dianne (Matthews) Solyk. Loving father of Theresa (Martin) Benson and Ross (Tara-Lee) Solyk. Grandpa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Karly and Emily Benson and Alexander and Hailee Solyk. Predeceased by parents Michael Evan and Roma Kay Solyk. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley (Bruce) Brown and Barbara Jean (the late Larry) Sloat. Uncle Evan will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Evan worked for the CN Railway retiring in 1998 after 34 years. He was the current President of the local CN Pensioner's Association.
