Ernest Flonders

Flonders, Ernest ~ suddenly at his home in Port Colborne, on Monday, August 2, 2010 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Sandra Flonders. Loving father of Perianne (Brian) Henderson and Wayne Flonders and stepfather of Joanne (John) Horvat, Linda (Branko) Horvat and Susan (Sean) Merritt. Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tommy, Patrick, Robert, Steven, Stephanie, Jennifer, Cally, Brad, Dillon and Devinne. Dear brother of James, Marie and Emily. Predeceased by parents William and Helen, brother Alexander and sisters Albina and Patricia. Ernest worked at General Motors for many years and won a number of awards for improvement suggestions, including the Kettering Award in 1984. He was involved in minor league hockey for many years, was a talented fiddle/guitar player and loved the north.
