SUMBLER, Eric Leroy - (Dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) At the Meadows of Dorchester on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Eric Sumbler formerly of Thorold in his 88th year. Husband of the late Shirley (Edwards) and the late Dorothy (Hawkins). Dear father of Heather (Randy Hughes), Robin (Andy Stephens) and Bruce Sumbler (Karin). Loving grandfather of Tami (Kurt Black), Kristoffer Hughes, David Hughes (Maria), Jeremiah Hughes (Sandra), Sara (Michael McCary), Melissa Hughes, Zoeann (Andrew Roberts), Rob Stephens, Tom Sumbler, Katrina Sumbler and the late Rebekka Hughes and proud of his 17 great grandchildren. Brother of Stanley Sumbler and the late Ruby English, Leta Corman, Jenny Backshall, Alvin, Charles, Ivan, Harold, Annabelle, Norman and Kenneth Sumbler. Uncle Eric will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.
