Emidio Dipompeo

DIPOMPEO, EMIDIO (September 16, 1928 - June 25, 2018) -Peacefully at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site on June 25, 2018. Husband of fifty-six years to Siria (nee DeFabritiis), father to Nick (Tamara) and Nonno to Giancarlo, Alex, Thomas and Alyssa. Survived by his brother Joseph (Antoinette), sisters Margherita Bartolomucci (Michaela), Elsa Roscetti (Radio) and Michelina Zarra (Vincenzo). Predeceased by his brother Valentino. Also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces. Emidio was born and raised in Italy. He came to Canada in the 1960s and worked and then finally retired from the Ontario Paper Mill. Emidio will always be remembered for his kind heart and his easy manner. Visitation at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street Thorold on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family would strongly prefer donations to Kidney Care (Dialysis) as gratitude for the amazing care given to Emidio through the years.
