Eileen Mckenzie

McKenzie, Eileen ~ at the Henley House, St. Catharines, on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Oswald McKenzie (Feb. 13, 2004). Loving mother of Marilyn (Hank) Lorenz, Bonnie (the late Bob, 1988) Hollender. Predeceased by daughter Carol (1993). G G will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cheryl (Rick) Bujacz, Paul (Gina) Lorenz, Sharon Hollender, Stephanie Hollender (Adam) and Brian Bellefleur and by her great grandchildren Sarah, Matthew, Madison, Nathan, Jude, Grey and Nova. Dear sister of John, Doris, Jeannette and Margaret. Predeceased by sister Phyllis and brothers Lorne, Ralph, Mike and Harry. Eileen was an old fashioned "Mom" who loved to bake, sew, knit, and enjoyed doing crafts with the grandchildren, always remembering to provide a special treat, "Tim Hortons Donuts", for them. She also loved to play the piano. Eileen had been a CGIT leader at Elm Street United Church, Merritton where she was a member for many years.
