Edward Andrusiw

ANDRUSIW, EDWARD - Passed away unexpectedly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, July 29, 2024, in his 82nd year. Eddie was predeceased in 2013 by his cherished wife of 49 years Lonna (née Lowrey). He was a beloved brother to Helen (John) Wilk, Jean and Harry, brother-in-law to Pat (Don) MacDougall, Nancy (Ron) Dunn, Norma Jane (Blair) Harber and Howard (Wilma) Lowrey. He will be dearly missed by his niece Karen Dickinson, cousins Len Andrusiw and Don Andrusiw; nieces and nephews Allen MacDougall, Elizabeth Lamb, Nancy Jane Keir, Tom Dunn, Andrew Harber, Paul Harber, Alex Harber, Wes Lowrey and Catherine Lowrey as well as many great nephews, great nieces and neighbours. He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Andrusiw. Eddie and Lonna lived in the village of St. Davids where they shared a passion for their horses and dogs that they kept for many years. Ed was an employee at General Motors for 40 years. He loved his cars and could often be seen cruising around the town in one of his prized rides. Eddie is at the Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold where the family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home. The interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Davids- Queenston United Church Cemetery 1453 York Road, St. Davids.
