Doris Evelyn Weir

WEIR, DORIS (Née Dennis) – After a courageous battle and with her daughter Sandra, granddaughter Bj and niece Carrie-Lynn by her side, Doris passed away peacefully at home, just as she wanted, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 just days before her 80th birthday. Now reunited with her beloved husband Bob (2021) and her sons Bobby (2025) and Billy (2002). Doris is survived by her daughter-in-law Nancy, her brother-in-law Paul (the late Sharon), nephews Gary, Rick (Wendy), Randy (Mary) and Brian (Rebecca). She is predeceased by her sister Joan (Roger) and brother-in-law David (surviving spouse Shelley). Doris will be lovingly remembered by her many great nieces and nephews and her friends across the border. Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Doris will be laid to rest with her husband at Lakeview Cemetery.
