Doreen Alice Degrave

DeGRAVE, DOREEN (née Hopper) – Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Alexander in 2018. Beloved mother of David (Brenda), Leigh (Rick) Martin and Brian. Loving grandmother to Bradley (Kaila) Martin, Jassmine (Terry) James, Alex (Mikaylah) Degrave, Andrew (Olivia Cirillo) Degrave, Nicklaus (Casey Olsen) Martin, Travis Degrave and Tyler Degrave. Proud “Gigi” to Khylee, Atlas, Dimitri, Levi and Luka. Doreen was an avid gardener and loved to knit and crochet. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 129 in Halliburton. She loved to curl and golf in early years will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A public graveside service honouring Doreen will be at Lakeview Cemetery 3651 Thorold Townline Road, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of Doreen’s life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton.
