HOLTBY, DONALD FLETCHER “Don”- Peacefully, with his family surrounding him on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital, in his 96th year. Eternal companion to Mary Ann (née Hubbard) for almost 69 years. Don was the loving and devoted father to Thelma (Jay), Robert (Agnes), John (Julia), David (Laurie), Paul (Cari), Catharine (Kenneth), and predeceased by his son William “Byll”. Proud Grandpa to Tammy (Peja), David (Rosemary), Raphael, Meghan, Rachel (Josh), Joseph, Cassandra, Diane, Jacob, Courtney, Bradley, Austin, David, Steven and predeceased by grandson Jim.  Great Grandpa to Xavier and Olivia. Don served in various callings as a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints St. Catharines Ward. He was the retired owner and operator of Donald Holtby Concrete, who enjoyed a post-work career in his garden and with his bees. Above all, Don was a devoted family man, only ever wanting to have his family nearby. Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 2:00- 4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 351 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines at 11:00 AM.
