REA, Domenico - Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Henley House, St. Catharines, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Carmina (Ruzza). Dear father of Anna (the late Libero Gazzellone), Flora Giovannone, Mario (Denise), Sandra (Brian Harrison), Tony, Folco (Carolee), Angelo and the late Pasqualina (the late Tony Stranges). Loving Nonno to 16 grandchildren, Bis Nonno to 13 great grandchildren and his late granddaughter Felicia. Brother of the late Maria Scappaticci (Folco), Favoralina (Tomes Rea) and Natale Rea. Brother-in-law to Mareitta Rea. Uncle Domenico will also be remembered by several nieces, nephews, his special niece Rita and nephew Mario, both of Italy. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, with Vigil Prayers held at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery. Domenico's family would like to thank his nurse Claire and the staff at Henley House for their care and compassion.
