PIRILLO, DOMENIC

1944 – 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear uncle, Domenic Pirillo on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Niagara Health Marrotta Family Hospital in St. Catharines, in his 81st year. Domenic is now reunited with his beloved grandmother Rosina, his parents Gino and Maria, his sister Susan and his "Honey" Lisa. Left to mourn his loss are his nieces and nephews Tony, Rosemarie, Roberto, Elena and their families.

Domenic participated for many years in the Special Olympics, from which he acquired quite the collection of bowling trophies. He was particularly proud of his status as an "Honourary Member" of the Sullivan Park Association throughout the 60's and 70's, where he was affectionately known as "Moe".

Domenic began his involvement with Community Living St. Catharines in 1967, attending their first community workshop on Walnut Street in Merritton. He was a resident in their group homes for the past 25 years. He will be missed by his many friends and loving caregivers there.

The family would like to thank the many devoted staff members of the CLSC for their support and friendship with Domenic over the 58 years he was with the association. They are angels among us.

Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from Noon until 1:00 PM.
