MASTRACCI, DINA - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dina (nee DiMaurizio), who left this world to be welcomed home to God, on October 29, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital.
Devoted wife of 61 years to Ralphe Mastracci. Loving mother to Roberto (Annette) Mastracci, Paolo (Niki) Mastracci and Linda (Pellegrino) Guerriero. Adoring Nonna to Ricco (Kajsa), Milan, Jasmine (Wade), Luca, Paolo, Alex, Cole, Domenic, Natasha, Zachary and Niko and loving bisnonna to Amelio.
Predeceased by her siblings Pasquale (Anna), Marino (Lisa), Noemia (Pietro), Alberto (Joyce), Armando. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister in law Elke DiMaurizio, Phyllis (late Costantino) Iafrate and Gino (Roseanne) Mastracci. Dina will be remembered with affection by her many nieces, nephews and extended family here and in Italy, and by many dear friends that were like family.
Dina enjoyed the simple things in life, her gardens and flowers, sewing and embroidery. Family was at the center of everything she did. Nothing brought her more joy than gathering her loved ones around the table, sharing home-cooked meals, and filling the house with laughter and conversation. Her legacy is one of love and strength and carrying on the family traditions to her children and grandchildren. Our yearly scrippelle, sauce (salse), sfogliatelle making will continue and we will make you proud. The numerous eggie sandwiches you lovingly made for all of your grandchildren will be fondly remembered always and as hard as we try will never be duplicated. Dina will be remembered for her generous heart, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her kindness, patience, and strength were an example to us all, and her legacy will live on through the family she nurtured so deeply.
