PLOURDE, Derek Joseph - Passed suddenly on Monday, March 2, 2020. Derek is survived by Sarah, Morgan and Gracie. Predeceased by his parents Beverley and David "Mickey" Plourde. Meteor "Heaven is a better place today, because of this the world is not the same." We watched your star light up in the sky, burning so strong and so bright. We should have known nothing that amazing lasts very long. We wished on your shooting star, desperately clinging to the happiness it radiated. We soaked up every moment, mesmerized by every word, lived for the stories and fell in love with your soul. Beautiful, hidden secrets shared amongst only the closest of friends. We sit now, quietly, holding our breath. Wishing for just one more chance, to hear your voice, feel your strength; to know your heart. Relatives and Friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 AM.
