Denis Michael Cummings

CUMMINGS, DENIS MICHAEL- Surrounded by his family at his home Denis passed away peacefully on February 16, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Daria (nee Kuchar) for over 50 years. Denis is survived by his children Denis (Debbie) Cummings, Christine (Brian) Garner, Robert (Jennifer) Cummings and is predeceased by his son Roy (surviving spouse Jackie) Cummings. Denis was the proud grandfather of Denis (Leslie), Brent (Holli), Spencer, Zachary (Stephanie), Cameron (Drelynn), Mackenzie, Michael and the late Karen. Denis was also blessed with his great-grandchildren Ethan, Lilliana, Anastasia, Jack, Alice, Alexis, Ryan, Rae and Colton. Denis will be missed by his many nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Dr. Tim Tatzel and the palliative nursing team of Jan and Melissa for their compassionate care and tremendous support. Relatives and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, Monday, February 21 at 11:00 AM. All Covid protocols will be followed including masking, physical distancing and contact tracing. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Denis can be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre which is a division of Niagara Health Foundation.
