DE GASPERIS, Roberto "Bob" ~ peacefully, with his family by his side at his residence in Thorold, on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 51 years to Angela (Orsini) De Gasperis. Loving father of Renato (Eva), Lino (Silvana) and Laura (Wayne) Morgan. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Paolo, Cristina, Matteo, Rita, Vanessa, Brianna, Dylan and James. Dear brother of Blege (the late Carlo) Mastracci, Rosa (Gino) Volante, Pasquale (Amerina) De Gasperis, and Francesco (Dorothy) De Gasperis. Predeceased by sisters Amleta (the late Pietro), Aurora (the late Vincenzo), Lidia (the late Guido) Giovannone and Filomena (the late Carlo) and brother Pietro survived by wife Ersilia. Roberto worked for General Motors for over 35 years, retiring in 1990.
